We have been watching Defiance on the Syfy channel recently, well since it came out. The idea of the show is that in the future the earth has been terraformed and is now the home of many mutants, aliens, android beings and more. A drifter and his adoptive daughter take roots in the town of Defiance (former St. Louis) to help protect the town from something more sinister. Some of the people within the town are hiding secrets, secrets that could change the fate of the world.
The story line is something different and how everything is set up to play of makes it flow nice and smooth. There isn’t a point in the story line where you are wondering why something was done. Not a point when you wonder where is the story going. Instead you are getting excited to see where the story will take the characters. One of the things I like most is the vivid colors that get included in the dull greys and blues of the distress town and villages. The colors are brought in with flowers, some of the characters and points of the atmosphere like when the are in the brothel.

Alek Tarr and Stahma Tarr are two of my favorite characters. Stahma gives off the feel of a Lady Macbeth type of character which might be why I am drawn to her.
One of the cool things about this series is it is a video game for multiple platforms: PS3, Xbox, and PC. You are playing out the scenario of the show, but what makes this different than other games based on shows is that what happens in the show each week has an effect on the game. I havent been able to play the game yet, but I know people who have and say it is a pretty fun game. So I cannot 100% give you a good idea of what the game play is like, I wish I could.
