Some of the articles I have read it shows Japanese cosplays that look great and American cosplays that might not be 100% great. Many of the images showed the Americans not so slim as the Japanese cosplays now, I know not everyone in American is the same size, I am sure the same applies for Japan. Not only that but I am sure there are cosplayers in Asian countries have people who don’t do the costume as amazing as some of the pictures that are presented in articles and blogs, or vblogs.
I have seen plenty of amazing American cosplays and I have to wonder why the people who wrote the articles don’t include the good costumes that are out there. No matter what country you are in there will be great cosplays and not so great cosplays. Simply because there are some cosplays that aren’t what some people would expect doesn’t mean they shouldn’t cosplay. I give everyone who tries to cosplay credit for having the courage to put themselves out there in a costume.
